I’ve been pondering about this. I feel like it provides a sense of control in a time that feels so uncertain.
I also worry that it promotes calmness in a way that sedates.
However, I’m hoping that despite the attraction being physical to begin with (like yoga for a lot of people), eventually those layers beneath are tapped into and it’s leading to more awareness, acceptance, compassion.
Ultimately, people are craving belonging and community.
I also am considering incorporating it into my practice to cultivate strength.
